Access control
Group doors, smart locks and gates into zones. Grant each card entry per zone — weekdays only, 8 to 6, or around the clock. Readers verify every tap against Tapa live, so a lost card is dead the moment you revoke it.
Events

If the device can make an HTTPS request, it works. Each reader, lock or gate gets its own device key and verifies cards against our API on every tap — ESP32 boards, Raspberry Pis and commercial readers with webhook support all qualify. No proprietary controllers.
Cards are verified live, not stored on the device — so a revoked, suspended or expired card is denied on the very next tap, at every door and gate, and the attempt is logged.
